Family Beach Portraits Tips

Myrtle Beach Photographer captured great family portrait at Myrtle Beach State Park

Not sure what to wear to the beach or any photo session?! Here's what works best:

Colors:

Pink, coral, dark blue, yellow, light blue, white, tan...

Hair:

Preferably up! It gets very windy at the beach and the hair will go everywhere!

Pants/Skirts:

Tan, jeans, white.

Shoes:

Sandals, flip flops (most likely barefoot).

“Be original, show off your style, and tell your story.”

Big families ideas:

• You may want to do all the females in one color (ex: pink, yellow, coral). The males a different color (ex: blues, grey, white).

• Another great idea is to have each family wear a different color (ex: family 1: would do blue, family 2: would wear yellow and so on).

• If you have a group of 15 or more, might be best for the photographer to come to you.

• Please note of your little princesses dresses! If you are planing to do dresses be aware of the positions your child may be sitting in. PUT ON those cute little BLOOMERS or shorts! :)  With little ones, it is best to do shoots right after the first or second nap.

• It is best to leave the purse, wallet and sunglasses at home or in the car, because you simply don't want to lose, scratch or have them in the picture.

• Don't forget to have a great time!

BE ON TIME or 10 minutes early !!!

We might have another family after yours to photograph, arriving late to your photo shoot will lead to less amount of time resulting in less images for your family.

PLEASE MAKE SURE TO CHECK HOW LONG IT WILL TAKE FOR YOU TO ARRIVE TO THE PHOTO SHOOT LOCATION A DAY BEFORE! PLAN TO LEAVE HOUSE/HOTEL 10-15 MIN EARLIER THAN NEEDED. SUMMER TRAFIC MIGHT AFFECT YOUR ARRIVAL TIME TO THE DESIGNATED LOCATION. ARRIVE 5-10 MIN BEFORE YOUR SET TIME TO NOT MISS YOUR OPPORTUNITY TO HAVE THE FULL SESSION YOU PAYED FOR.
